How do you describe in a few words a parent, when your identity is so entwined with the influence of their legacy? A life that demonstrated humility, equality, justice and charity as well a humour and joy of living. 

My hope is that this centenary of his birth will be a reminder of all that he achieved in his life and that he may be an example for the coming generations.
